Welcome to the Unity Engine installation guide! This guide will get you set up so you can smoothly follow along the course!

This guide will set up the following items:

• Unity Account — You need this to install Unity!
• Itch.io Account (Optional) — This is for us to publish games for each other to play!
• Unity Hub — This is used to manage the Unity Engine versions and your projects!
• Unity Engine (Version 2022.3.62f2) — This is the Engine we’ll be learning!
• Visual Studio Code — This is the Code Editor we will be using to code!

Get a Unity Account:

Before you begin installing anything, do create an Unity account.

You may sign up using this link: https://login.unity.com/en/sign-up

Set up Unity Hub + Unity + Visual Studio Code:

First off, you’ll need to determine which operating system you are using. If you are unsure, consult this page, we’ll be here when you’re back!

Each operating system has slightly different instructions, so please click the one that co-responds to your operating system!
